Based in Bangalore and established in 1991, “2M Engineers” was pioneered by two Engineering College friends from UVCE Bangalore, Madhu and Manju. Initially we were engaged in the manufacturing of Electromagnetic Clutches, Brakes and Brake motors supplying to reputed original Equipment manufacturers. During 1998 we diversified our business to manufacture machines in the COIR industry with the technical guidance from the engineering division of the Central Institute of Coir Technology, Bangalore. COIR BOARD a premier institution of Government of India recognized this development and achievements and presented us with an award for this unique invention for the best efforts in the developments of coir processing machinery category for the year 1999-2000 at the INTERNATIONAL COIR Fair held at KOCHI during October 2001.
Our firm is remarkably rivetted in manufacturing machineries related to the coir industry. We have a vast customer base across the world who mainly procure our willowing machines, Coir Processing Machine, Needle felt Machines and many more. Our firm’s obligation to quality products and delivery within agreed timelines have always been the foundation to our organisation’s success. Being the recipients of the government of India award, we are pioneers in this domain.
Over the summer of 2001-02 we have successfully modified and commissioned a machine which revolutionized the coir spinning industry. Here’s what we did. For every 6 to 7 spinning machines, one slivering machine is installed. When there is a breakdown in this slivering machine, spare parts are generally not readily available. The repair turnaround time is generally 2 to 3 days which affects the delivery output as none of the other machines can be run until the slivering machine is repaired.
