Who we are

This website is run by 2M Engineers, A-27, 3rd Stage, Maruthi Nagar, Peenya, Bengaluru 560058, Karnataka, India. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean 2M Engineers. We are responsible for the personal information you share with us through this site.

What we collect

We only collect what you choose to send us:

• Enquiry form. Your name, company, email address, phone number, country, the fibre you work with, the application you are interested in, and your message.
• Email, phone and WhatsApp. Whatever you include when you contact us directly.

We do not use analytics, advertising trackers or marketing cookies on this website, and we do not build profiles of visitors.

How we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and answer questions about our machinery.
• To prepare quotations, arrange factory visits and follow up on an order.
• To keep records we are required to keep by law, for example for tax and accounting.

We do not sell, rent or share your information with anyone for their own marketing.

Services that handle your information

• Netlify hosts this website and receives and stores enquiry form submissions on our behalf. Like any web host, it processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver the site.
• Google Maps is embedded on the contact page to show our location. Loading the map connects your browser to Google, which may set its own cookies under Google's privacy policy.
• YouTube plays the video on the home page. Nothing is loaded from YouTube until you press play; the video then streams from youtube-nocookie.com, under Google's privacy policy.
• WhatsApp is only involved if you tap the WhatsApp button. Your conversation is then handled under WhatsApp's privacy policy.

Some of these services may store data outside India. Where they do, they are bound by their own data-protection commitments.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any business that follows from it, and for as long as the law requires us to keep business records. After that we delete them.

Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to:

• tell you what personal information we hold about you and how we use it;
• correct or update information that is wrong or incomplete;
• delete your information, where we no longer need to keep it;
• stop using your information, if you withdraw your consent.

You can also raise a complaint with us, and if you are not satisfied with our response, with the Data Protection Board of India.
